Do these morons even remember that first movie? Are they going to have the girls fill the same roles as the boys did in the first movie? That would be a stretch of the imagination. So we're going to have one girl who's boy crazy and has no idea how to get a guy's attention, the Jim of the group. We'll have the one girl who has a boyfriend but they only mess around a little and both hesitate to take things further, the Kevin. Then we'd have to have our Oz girl who does all the things a popular girl does only to try something mostly guys take as an untapped source. Will she take wood shop? And then will there be a female Finch who's a germaphobe that winds up sleeping with the Stiffler's dad? And if so, how do you not cast Sean William Scott and have him play Stiffler? But they won't do anything like that. It might give that girls character flaws to overcome.

The Americans pies series are my all time favourite films I think this is going to ruin it 😅 just give us American pie five like we deserve 🤔. I literally just read the book this is based on. Plot twist she decides to keep it or isnt pregnant. I can't tell which comments are serious and which aren't anymore. Why this title? Other actors, different story. Bruh i remember watching this with my friends at gatherings back when we were 6-8 years old. This time, the girls are calling the shots! Talk about not getting it. In the 1999 film it was the girls calling the shots. Vicky gets Kevin to give him oral pleasure like she gives him. Heather gets Oz to choose the choir competition over lacrosse. Michelle definitely called the shots with Jim. And did Stifler's mom with Finch. American Pie 1999 was about female empowerment. It just did so covertly.
Joaquin Pheonixs Joker would fit perfectly in this rendition of Batman. American Poon? Would that be winner. This female centered American Pie flick is sadly a not very funny, completely sanitized film with lazy writing and directing. The worst offense is a very forced feminist message. But before the pitchforks and fire comes out I am all for equal rights, but crudely forcing the message in every Bit of (once) popular entertainment property doesn't work (Well hello Ghostbusters, Terminator: Dark Fate and Charlie's Angels. This latest gasp of American Pie will go down in history as: the one that effectively killed the once hit comedy franchise.
I have watched a few of these and only really like the first few. I remember the original made me cringe but for the right reasons the comedy timing was hilarious. The women in it were either so gorgeous they turned men into puddles or actually really smart/cool characters like the girl who played Willow in Buffy. Fast forward to this its just not progress. Weak script and lame jokes with some some empowerment bs woven in that even if it were for good intentions is not selling their ideology as well as the movies predecessors. What age does this happen at. I am girl and i can confirm this is 100% accurate. Ngl Robert Pattinson has been GOAT lately, brush off the twilight years and look at his works like on Netflix and youll understand why girls went crazy for him.

The only reason they make all female reboots is so Hollywood can make the same film again but with the added shield of screaming 'sexism' if you complain. Dress it however they want but once again it's another unwanted sequel/reboot with zero originality that is destined for the bargain bin.
